Johns Lake since Hurricane

Has anyone been on John's Lake since the hurricane? Specifically in the east end where Black Lake used to flow into John's. It seems like the canal leading into Black Lake is blocked off now, changing the dynamic of those backwaters there. Seemed to observe a lot of stagnant water and dead vegetation.

I haven't fished Johns lake in 2 years. I used to love that place, that was before it was over fished and houses built around every lake. The last 2 tournaments my small club had out there were pathetic. Under 10 pounds to win.
