    Ultrex Ducer Cable

Wonder why they left the transducer cable outside the regular wiring sleeve? The fortrex didn't. While not a big deal connecting them together, it would have been cleaner bundled in.

Probably since the Ultrex head spins around and the Fortrex doesn't.

Agree, was surprised and disappointed to see it outside of the sleeve :(

Just a guess, but they may have left it out to reduce the RFI interference with the Sonar.

The Fortrex comes out of the head, down the rigging sleeve, under the footpedal and out. The Ultrex doesn't have a rigging sleeve that comes out of the head, it has a coil cord, so it is ran down the coil cord.
