Motor guide xi5 link with hds

Looking for input on how these units work togther. Likes and dislikes etc. thank u in advanced

I like having the display showing prop percentage and if the motor is following a heading etc. I rarely use the goto or routing functions. Sometimes I tell it to go to a point on the map while I sit down and take a quick break with some jerky and a water.

If you do not mind spending the money buy the gateway but do not think you are missing out on something great if you want to watch what you spend.

My TI7 is linked and I like it, handy for slow trolling for walleye because it shows speed also.

I use the go to function all the time.
I will idle around marking spots and then go back and fish them.
