Can you wet sand more than once

A few years back I took the steps to wet sand and restore my boat.... well some places especially where I got in a hurry toward the back have become oxidized again. Is it possible to wet sand, rub and buff again

    In most cases yes...

How many rounds and what grits of paper did you use
Is the boat straight gel or flake
    How old is the boat

I did mine twice about 6 yrs apart 1st time I started at 800 and went to 2000 then buffed and polished with Protec sealant this time I started at 1200 and went to 2000 then buffed and sealed with protec sealant, looks like new it had taken a little haze over the last couple years but I was the only one that saw it for the most part, I had to point it out to most people Protec is s the bomb

If this is all you did you can sand and buff again but without seeing your boat, good advice on the starting grit as well as the progression to the final stages can’t be given. The color of the gel or flake as well as other factors will determine what steps you need for the finish you desire.

Try buffing it with 3M imperial first before wet sanding. save a lot of time and effort and it'll do the trick.

It will not cut the oxidation....it’ll look good for a short period then fade back because the oxidation was not cut....
