How many calls to the FBI does it take?

How do you reconcile this if you are in charge? You can’t. Up to 20 reports logged about the shooter.....as recent as 6 weeks ago. My faith in the agency is zero.

No matter what level of LE you look at, the cops are at best minutes away when you need them now. Security does not work from afar, every time you remove it from the individual you add risk that must be mitigated or a threat will exploit it.

Its Pathetic what that Agency has become. Imagine how insecure our Country is if we can’t even keep track of a local menace turned killer with a bunch of prior history.

You are forgetting that the FBI probably gets thousands of complaints a year just like the ones they got about this guy.

I know there were lots of calls to law enforcement, but do we know if they missed anything that he could have been arrested for?

With guys saying they want to become a professional school shooter? With a known background? I would think they would maybe pop in and do a check on the guy.

So what would you all have suggested the FBI have done to this individual after all these complaints to have prevented this horrific tragedy?

    Their job! Investigate the person.
Does it matter? FBI in a presser admitted they dropped the ball today. They seem to agree with whats being said here.

Try calling the Stark County Sheriff's department!? If this is an emergency, please hang up and dial 911. If not, listen carefully to our menu!!

Key word "Federal". The FBI is just another beaurocratic entity so expect mistakes.

This kid, due to 39 visits by law enforcement to his house, should have not been that difficult to identify as a threat and he certainly should not have been allowed to have a weapon. But what do you charge him with? This kid actually saw a police therapist who cleared him and said he was not a threat. At that point the police turned him lose. The FBI certainly should have investigated the case more than they did. They told the parents of the dead students they were sorry, I bet that helped.

Excuses don’t cut it. It’s what these folks and this agency is there for. If they can’t do the job, close the shop. PERIOD!

Comey and Mueller would have been on his ass. And grandstanding it of course.
