Attaching transducer cable to trolling motor

I did a search and couldn't find anything I'm sure this has been covered somewhere finally after 2 months got my mega trolling motor ducer from Humminbird what is the best way to connect it to my trolling motor I've always have used zip ties but I've read they can cut into the cable didn't know if they made some kind of clips or what any help would be appreciated.

If you use zip ties along the shaft I recommend a couple of wraps of black tape to keep the zip tie from damaging or cutting into the cable.

Either use some tape underneath the tie or use Velcro ties.

When you use the plastic cable ties, put the lock where the cable is so you can't crush the cable when tightening. You also don't have the forcibly tighten the ties, snug is good enough.

    This is brilliant!

I need these, looks like you have to order them in bulk... Do you know what size they used?

    Thanks

I used the FLEXROUTE XL for my Helix MEGA transducer cable. Worked great.
