There is enough room in there to fit 6 batteries if you want. Thats no joke, there is a ton of room in the back. the factory battery trays have 3 batteries, they are interstate batteries cant remember the group though.

Yeah I’ve seen the room in the back, very impressive. Just didn’t know if I would have to change the factory battery trays out or if they would fit the group 29 or 31 batteries.
by the looks of the trays, I would say you would need to change them out. They fit just right with the factory batteries but not much room to increase size.

I pick up my rt198p tomorrow. I'll check, and let you know.
I had the dealer put 31’s in my 198p for the trolling motor, they will not fit in the trays for the size 27’s.
