I'm thinking of getting a few 93sv chirp units, will the first quarter update do anything for them? Or is it only for plus units? I'd like to share a transducer with 2 console units. I know this has been answered before, but I can't find it, or remember. Thanks again.

If your getting a pair....get a gpsmap 7600 xsv instead, and use your iPad as a second screen. My xsv is in bow, but I have full control and all views on it from the helm using my iPad....a 10 inch screen. Wish Apple would come out with a 16” ipad.

Thats what I do too. The Ipad Air2 is super bright. Glare not an issue.
What do you do for the rain?

He's referring to the 7400 7600 series units. Model numbers include screen size and added letters denote functions.
Examples: 7610xsv 7408xsv
