how do you properly time the high pressure fuel pump on this motor? I see timing marks on the fly wheel but not the wheel for the fuel pump or timing marks?
how do you properly time the high pressure fuel pump on this motor? I see timing marks on the fly wheel but not the wheel for the fuel pump or timing marks?
The pump is not timed. It just builds up fuel pressure. The injectors are timed (controlled) by the ECU to open and close as needed.
I was thinking this was the case but just wanted to be sure. Thank you!
