Uses the 4.8" and 5.44" (similar to the Verado Line).

Anything it "did" use in the future would need to be a fully-shimmed case (such as those used on the Verado engines, or perhaps the G2-TM down the road).

So current tm and sm cases will likely bolt up? Because Verado cases bolt up...

This is good news if I am understanding correctly

Incorrect. Verado Gearcase (Not "Verado Style"). Driveshaft IS different.

Additionally, gearcases utilized will need to be fully shimmed (which the G1-TM and SM are NOT).

I'm sure that we will see further development in this area... there are fully-shimmed gearcases already produced (which could easily come to this line (or future lines) with minor changes).
