    how long does a boat have to stay in the mold?

    Given the entire process takes about 10 days from gel coat to rigging and putting it on the trailer, it aint long. I toured the factory and saw the process but dont recall the amount of time in the mold. I believe it was less than 24 hours though. They spray the gel and lay them up everynight, and i believe they pop them out the next am or afternoon and start all over. They don't have numerous molds laying around for each model, so it has to be somewhat of a quick process.
