    Carb to EFI

Im about to have a 200hp promag rebuilt. Im currently running a 200hp Blackmax which has carbs. The Blackmax runs good and has 120psi on all cylinders. Is it possible to swap the EFI stuff onto this powerhead fairly easily?

No, and the only thing it will do for you is a better cold idle. Many times the carb will get slightly better gas mileage too.
It can be done, but not worth the effort. Carbs are also more reliable.

2.5 to 2.5 should fit fine unless it has 14 peddle reed block

If they are both 2.5 liters. I think the only difference is intakes.

Physically it should all swap on pretty easy. Is your 200 a 2.4 or 2.5? If a 2.4, it may run just a little off on the tune, hard to tell.

Theyre both 2.5. I talked to a local guy earlier today who said he can do it without any issues. Hes gonna send the injectors off and redo the bleed lines, timing, reeds...the whole nine yards.

i weld those shut, but i never used a 200 block to swap, a 2.5 245 carb to a horn efi front, and then pick a fuel curve. Usually a brucato acu, but i suppose you could just use stock xri stuff and factory box.

So far the linkage, intake, reeds and electrical for the efi are swapped over. Plugged the bleeds for the carb and ran the bleeds for the efi setup. Waiting to get the injectors back from getting cleaned and flowed. Only thing I see changing are the reeds. They are metal. Thinking about getting in touch with Chris Carson about a set of his to put on it. Also deleting the oil injection on it. Gonna continue with premix.

I'd go with the TDR 100-4 Reeds (assuming it's a 4-petal reed cage). They do very nicely in that configuration.
