    Ethernet Switch

I'm having an issue not seeing any other devices in my network. Should the Ethernet Switch (just got it) show any lights to indicate it is getting power?

They don't have an indicator light. Make sure if on switched power, that it is powered up before any connected accessories or fishfinders. Sometimes takes a few seconds before things show up after they completely power up.

Without any indicators, how do you know it's powered up?

What king of "meter"? And what are we looking for with the meter? I would surmise that getting power to a box does not necessarily mean that box is working.

a voltmeter? 12 volts. And yes it can be broken even if it has power. The test of the whole magilla is your units are communicating. Power should be the start of troubleshooting. Bob

I had, issues getting my network up and running and what I discovered is, if you don't see the ethernet hub in your, I think it's "view network", or something to that effect, you may have an issue with power getting to the unit.
