    1988 Mercury 35 on 1988 TX 17...what proper diameter and pitch?

    Trying to locate the original diameter and pitch. Called Mercury and Tracker. Boat is too old for their records. Anyone an expert on these smaller, older motors and know what the proper diameter and pitch would be for this boat? It came with a 10 3/8 x 13 and a 10 1/2 x 13 but turningpointpropellers.com and the cust. service rep at Mercury are both suggesting a 12 pitch.

    To correctly prop this boat you will need to get 100% accurate WOT RPM readings, with the boat loaded the way you normally use it.
