    Grand Lake 2-13-2018 report

Fished Grand for a while yesterday and couldnt buy a bite. First time in a long time I have blanked on Grand. This is the part of Crappie fishing I have not mastered. Why in the world would they go dead when the conditions are right? Is it the ice we had over the weekend? I seen quite a bit of dead shad.

If you've seen alot of dead shad the crappie have probably just gorged themselves already. Bite will get better shortly or atleast that's how it happens here.

Maybe best thing to do is fish the areas you've seen the least amount of kill off.

This was my thought as well. We also just had a bad ice storm last weekend so that may have screwed them up as well.
