    RT188 Power Pole Wiring

After calling Ranger and getting the Ok, I'm planning on adding a power pole to my rt188 here in the next few weeks. I would like to wire the PP to the main breaker but I'm a noob when it comes to wiring.

I know there is a fuse box under the console, is that where I would wire in the power pole? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

I would wire it to the cranking battery with an inline fuse

This is basically my backup plan but I'd like to be able to cut the power to everything, including the power pole using the main breaker switch.

I installed that big power switch that hydrilla sells to cut mine off. Otherwise you'd have to run a wire up to the console power panel to get hooked into the main power breaker.

I was wondering the same thing because I have everything wired to my master power switch on my renegade. Almost seems like it would be work it to wire my poles there too so I can just flip one switch and be done with it.

You can get those switches a lot cheaper from Amazon. Search the product number.

I'd rather not wire it to a separate switch if possible. The boat already has a main switch that cuts power to all electronics. I'd like to figure out how I can wire the power pole to that as well.

I have 2 poles attached to a Blue Sea 6006 battery switch connected direct to cranking battery. Mounted to the side wall near pumps. Much easier install than trying to run everything to the console. I would consider your preferred method to complicated if you are not familiar with the wiring. I think most dealerships wire them separate also.
