Anyone ever fish Lake Ouachita? When would be the best time to go down there? Any recommendations on where to go or where to stay?

Just depends on what you like to do or how you want to catch them. March, April, May is hard to beat. There are numerous cabins around the lake. North shores and three sisters have some very nice cabins. Crystal Springs and Brady Mtn are nice areas as well. Prespawn and spawn bite is strong March-April. Topwater bite is strong in May and early June. If you're planning on coming late July-August....bring dynamite.

It's 30 minutes from my door so I fish it a little.Let me know if you come down ,maybe we can wet a line.
