How far does your truck say with a boat hooked up?

Looking at buying a towtector for my 2017 ram 1500 ecodiesel. Boat is in storage so no way to measure it with it hooked up. Wondering how far most trucks sag down with a 18 fiberglass boat hooked up to it ? Thanks

Maybe 1/2 inch on a pickup truck. You should have around 150 lb tongue weight.
Have a 150 lb person stand on the bumper and see.

I have a 2017 Ram 1500 5.7 hemi with 20 inch wheels. Run a 191 Champion with tandem trailer. A 4 inch drop hitch drops the back about 3 to 4 inches and level the truck and trailer nicely.

Beats me, would guess it depends on the rear suspension. My hitch weight is over 200 pounds.

gonna depend totally on your suspension package and your tongue weight.. i have an f150 with an HD tow package and off road pkg,, my 19 foot tandem axel boat dont phase it..
i pulled a car hauler last weekend that squatted her a tad though

I have a 2015 Bighorn Ecodiesel, a Champion 202 and a tandem trailer. It does not have air suspension but it does have a 2.5” front level kit. The weight on the hitch raises the front enough to get high beams from oncoming traffic quite frequently. So I put ait springs in the back. Don’t know the weight on the hitch, sorry.

p.s. 4,000+ lb load and I get 20+ mpg, loving it!

p.p.s. I have something very similar to the Towtector's if you are interested, great shape, used $150+ shipping, PM me for pics if you are interested.

Well I went out to hook up boat and measure drop with a yard stick, 4 inch drop hitch and it actually only dropped 1.75 inch.

    A 18' boat won't sag that much. Probably around 1"-maybe 1.5"
