Good stuff as usual. I'm wondering if a black and blue jig will get some bigger bites this time of year than the green pumpkin. Either way I'll have Cooch's Wadda Jig tied on when I get back out there.
I'm taking the boat into Boatmasters in mid-March for a little work and will have it in at the end of March. I'm waiting for it to get a little warmer and the fish get a little less confused :)

I'm good with not having them or the Elites pounding the Delta. It has a tournament going out every weekend for a large part of the year and it gets a ton of pressure.

I can fish my nearby lakes all year and have success - the Delta is something i've yet to crack. I'm always throwing the wrong presentations or hitting it at the wrong times.

You can never go wrong with Cooch's Jigs, and come to think about it I never did throw a black and blue. Typically I will have both colors tie on. March will be a good month, but there are many fish to be caught right now.

Its a tough place to figure out for sure.
Going from a lake to a tidal fishery adds an element
that makes it tough to comprehend what where and when
they are going to eat.
