    Recommendations for hand held Marine radio

    Hi all

    I have decided to purchase a handheld marine Radio to keep in my boat.

    Just wondering if any of you have any recommendations?

    I am thinking one that takes batteries as that seems like the best way to be sure you can power it.

    I have the Standard Horizon HX300. Would recommend, performs well with a nice set of features.
