One trim issue when I got the boat last year, the seals on the cylinders were leaking. My dealer fixed it real fast.
One season with it and I love it! Crazy torque
So far the best motor I’ve ever had. I’ve had merc yamaha and even a 97 ficht which was my low point I gave evinrude another chance best move I’ve made its awesome 2 years in so far
Absolutely love the motor and yes I would buy another without even a second thought. With that being said, I am waiting for my new 2018 Z521L with G2. Just waiting for the two area boat shows to be over as the dealer needed one for the shows. The boat they ordered for the show (with a G2) didn't make it on time. G2 all the way!!!

Not really thinking about it since my ride is still pretty much new. Eventually when I am in the market, the Lynx is high on the list. Not real sure when "eventually" would be... I'm looking forward to seeing what J. Crews's Lynx with Verado does for performace too.
The Caracal w/G2 should be a nice looking set-up. I will look for you in the mix of 345,887,000 bass boats on St. Clair in May!
Great to hear the G2 customers like the motors. I was an OMC fan til ficht, and everyone I knew with an E tec got rid of it. Hope to get back if the G2's are reliable long term.
Still plenty of G1's out there running the waterways, and there are still plenty of FICHT's running out there too.
