Tempest 26 to replace T2 26 pitch

Has anyone replaced their Yamaha T1 or T2 with a Merc Tempest in the same pitch.....I'm running a 2016 Fx20 with a
T2 26 pitch which runs ok but I think more lift from the Merc would get a little better performance .... still
running at 7 dots but need to go up for more RPMs....one other thing, if anyone has run the Tempest did you plug
the holes for the 250 SHO ????

I tried a 25p tempest on my ZX250 and it ran decent 72 mph but it would exceed limiter. I had the prop worked and after it would only turn 6k which was good but it still only hit 72mph. aside from not being as fast as the T1 all other performance was excellent after being worked. Good hole shot and handling. Ran solid plugs

I replaced my 27T1 with a Tempest Plus 27 B&B's by Mark. I've got two of the PVS holes plugged with intermediate size plugs. Hole shot is super and running about 74 at 5600 with 1/2 tank of fuel and all my gear.

My boat came with a 25p T-1, but it wasn't enough pitch. I replaced the T-1 with 25p and 26p Tempests. I use the 25 for extra heavy loads. The 26 is my "normal" load prop. I run one PVS hole unplugged, one small hole, and one medium hole.

Thanks for the information, good start to a new setup, I ran Tritons since they came out and just moved to a skeeter last year....just
