    2015 f150 question

I have a 2015 with 37k on it. 3.5 EB. I went to start it today and it turned over fine (battery good) but won't start. sounds like it wants to. In shop now had to be towed. I'm sure I'll find something out tomorrow just interested in thoughts of what it can be

Are you low on gas and park on an incline with front end down? The F150 gas pick up must be at the rear of the tank. Happened to me twice, first time it got towed to shop. Second time I just let it rolled down the driveway to the street and started right up.

My Check Engine light was on for months, said the right bank was running lean. Truck ran fine, but parked it one day and it wouldn't start again. Sounded like it wanted to run, but just idled rough and died. Turned out it was the fuel pump.

Maybe body control module going bad or fuel pump

you really don't want that answered.....I would be finding a different tech if one made a comment like that to me.

    Since you've started the party......

I was an EcoBoost 3.5 owner, I opted for the 5.0 this time.

Fuel mileage is better, but doesn't have the same low end torque (feels like a slug compared to the EcoBoost). Been a good trade-off really, still pulls the boat fine, there's less stuff to go wrong, and it sure sounds good when I get on it!

I think I will stick with my father on this one. Head dealer tech for 20+ years. Man knows his stuff.

My next truck will be the 5.0

I have a 2011 3.5 Ecobeast right now, no complaints. Just think they really pulled the buyers chains with claims of better MPG than what is on the sticker.

    Truck does kick a$$.

I had 2 eco boost. Now I own a 5.0, I had a ford mechanic tell me the same thing. The eco boost have some significant issues that continue to show up consistently.
