    92 Pantera 2 props

I have a 92 Pantera 2 with a 97 Yamaha prov 200. I currently have a 24p 4 blade prop. Great hole shot but my top speeds is only 58 mph wondering if I can give up a little bit of holeshot for top end speed. What prop do I need I have been told to get a Yamaha 25p m1.

Need more Info, such as RPM. 58 sounds REALLY slow for that boat unless it has somehow gotten badly water-logged and weighs a ton... Do you know your prop to pad measurement? That and the RPM will help diagnose this. Also is that speed GPS or speedo?

Your low on rpm. Done a compression test on the motor?
    I believe I have a 26 on my 90 p2. It's got a 200 mercy on it.

I run a 24P fury 3 blade on my 90 P2 and see upper 60s consistently with a full load and partner.

Did a compression test on the motor before I bought it in spring of 2017. Just measured prop to pad and I was 6.25 which is way to far below the pad from what I am seeing. I am thinking about getting a 25p trophy to try.

Get you prop to pad height right first. 25 tempest, 25M or a 24 fury should get u where u want to be.

I would start at 3.5" below pad and go from there.
