    Striker 7sv w/gt52 transducer vs echomap 73sv w/cv52 transducer

I was wondering what peoples choice would be, both having CHIRP, $400 for striker 7sv w/gt52 transducer or $500 for the echomap 73sv w/cv52 transducer? Most of my waters are 30ft or less mostly 3-15ft is more realistic but I want to be able to expand my fishing depths if I can, small community reservoirs that wont be mapped.

Didn't know you could get a Striker with a gt52. Regardless I would get the echoMAP 73sv with the cv transducer. You will have QuickDraw and the ability to add Panoptix on the echoMAP unit.

Update I found the Striker 7sv w/gt52 xducer on clearance at westmarine for $300. So is $200 worth the echomap 73sv?

I have both. I have the Striker 7sv for sonar, dv and sv. I bought a 94sv refurb unit for mapping.

The Striker has no maps. If you already have a mapping unit, then get the Striker.
