320v w/ 110 johnson vro prop questions
Hey yall.... chip from alabama here.... my first post... as you can see I have a 85 ranger 320v with a johnson 110 vro and it has a 3 blade Parker prop. The motor runs great... no questions there... but it takes off sliw... cranks the hull up and takes for ever for it to plain out. When it dies plane out..... she cruises 49-52mph. But with me and my buddy... a small cooler up front.... and light takle.... I feel like a the hemi under glass wheel stands at the dragstrip..... what's the fix for this???? Thank you... thiss my first bass boat so please forgive me if I don't know all the lingo.... I'm a drag race who likes to fish....ty

Chip, I have copied your question over to the “props” forum. As well, you might try the Evinrude/Johnson motors forum. There’s a lot you’re not telling us, including such details as the prop size (and that’s a prop model unknown to me) and engine RPMs. Be prepared with additional details in order to gain the answers you seek. — JC
