I see another context to their method. The idea is to form social skills...not being able to refuse forces them to face fears they may have and learn how to communicate, respond, and react. In a controlled manner as this, I have no problem with it.

Quit raising sissies...put some meat on them bones. They'll be better for it later in life.

Mixed message for the guys. Girls can't say no now, so what about when they try to take it too far? First we tell them "No means No." , now we tell them " They can't say No", and poor kids can't decide what the h$!! they are supposed to do!! As far as using it to form social skills, ummm, I think that is reaching a little far to agree with what they are doing.

I knew that bs about everyone has to get a Valentine's day card crap was a setup for this.

My daughter wouldn't have to say no. If she came home and told me this I'd be up there at the school saying it for her to the principal.

What the hell is wrong with people???

And I see another. The idea is to remove our God given right to choose. Its taking a step back in time. This won't form social skills, just retard them more. It's taking the "trophy kid" mentality to the extreme. Everybody does not deserve a participation award. Everyone is not a winner just because they show up.

When I was growing up forcing someone to do something they didn’t want to do was called bullying, not kindness.

So, no means no unless saying no hurts someone's feeling then you have to say yes.

My girls could say no anytime, and If my boys couldn't handle it, I have been known to climb on a couple desks.....
