    Little girl not allowed to say no?

    I see so much thats just wrong about this. If I ask a girl to a dance, she should be able to make up her own mind to decide if she wants to or not. This is sending the wrong message.

    Yeah, whoever thought this up needs a vacation. Al would give him/her two weeks off. Girls must be allowed to say no and be respected for it.

    Umm yea, IF my daughter went to the dance she would be saying no to whoever she wished. The school can take it up with me if they have a problem.

    This is so stupid,she has to say yes! I’m almost sure that all of us here with daughters taught their own children to say no to people they don’t want to touch. Having said that if that had been the rule back in the early eighties my success to asking girls to dance would have gone way up. One thing boys and girls need to learn,not everyone likes you or wants to spend time with you.

    We have happening in the 8th grade......kid goes in the girls room....they all run out. No much can be done about it. There is laws to protect the activity.

    Kids need to learn to deal with rejection, without having it ruin their lives. It starts with parents telling their child that the candy and junk cereals they want Mom to buy just are not going to happen. Let them cry, and offer to really give them something to cry about...a good spanking.
