Well, if you're looking for an aluminum boat I'm not a genius, Jon boat part numbers are usually 4 digits, the first two are length in feet and the second two are width in inches.
A good boat for you two might be a 1448. If it is heavy, a simple dolly made from two bicycle wheels would make it easy to move around, if balanced it could take all your gear easy enough for one man to move around. You could even leave the wheels on in the water since speed is not the desired effect.

So am I putting the pieces to the puzzle together correctly? you drag the boat over ice, launch a small boat into a body of water with heavy current and take waves over the bow in the middle of winter. I would be doubling up on my life insurance policy.

It's doubled, trust me, that is why I want to get a better, safer boat. My wife does not want me to go there, but she knows that I can't stay away and promotes me to get a safer boat also.

In the last four or five trips, we caught over 1500 pounds of large mouth. Last Sunday we caught over 200 averaging over 2 pounds apiece many fish over 3 to 5 pounds.

Someone is off their medicine for sure! The boat you want does not exist anymore than the 1500 pounds of fish you supposedly caught!

This is a power plant lake with temps ranging from 54*-74* all winter. It flows into Lk Erie and every species of fish comes in. We have had many 300 bass days... Sorry that you don't believe, But it does not effect me at all.

Thanks everyone for the tips.... I'm looking at all options.

I'm also considering the pond king, or having something similar custom made. I have many friends that are in the metal fab biz.

I am betting these rigs are $$$$, but they might be able to cover most of your requirements with a custom build.

I didn't look thru the whole thread, have you heard of Sea Eagle.com. shows an inflatable boat with 2 people standing and 2 motors and seats. good luck!
