    Question Covering hole in bow

I removed my flush mounted 5” humminbird from my stratos 285xl and now I am trying to find something to cover the big hole that was left. Anyone know where to get a replacement bow panel or something to cover it?

Contact CBailey. I’d bet he could make you an awesome plate of some type.

I made a filler from a colored vinyl cutting board. It looks nice and was 1/2” thick. It has lasted for 5+ years.

I had some to cover and found flat plugs at Lowe's. They had chrome and black ones.

I used cherry stained and sealed 1/4" oak and put my Ram mount base and a Helix 9 SI on it. Solid as a rock.

haven't done it yet but everyone is using the plastic cutting boards, cuts easy and is thick and strong. gonna try that myself this spring on mine.

Corian, Then Plasti Dip it the color you want. I have a couple of pieces (Ugly color) that I could cut and router the edges for you if you send me a template.

Looks good. How did you attach the plate? Glue? I need to do the same for console and bow.

I just used silicone, I'm sure you could pry it out if needed.
