    Jackplate Question

I'm wanting to get a hydraulic jackplate for my 2013 Cougar. It currently has a slidemaster manual. What size do I need and what's the best brand? Atlas or Bobs?

Atlas and call BassCat for recommended size. Make damn sure you order a 6 bolt pattern plate. I personally called T&H and bought directly from them, told them what I wanted.

I have an Atlas on my Cat. I've never heard a negative thing about either one though. I have an 8 inch I THINK. Can you just measure from transom to verify what length setback jackplate you have? I don't see where it says the setback distance on the actual plate.
