How much better is the Ultrex anchor mode as compared to the Terrova?

I bought a mint condition used boat that had a first generation Terrova 101LB and was thinking about upgrading to an Ultrex 36volt. I like the Terrova, but the steering is very slow especially when you need to make a quick turns in standing timber. Also, how much better is the anchor mode on the Ultrex as compared to the Terrova?


Any ideas what a mint condition Terrova I-Pilot 101 36 volt trolling motor would be worth?

The anchor mode on the BT models (Blue Tooth) has been greatly improved. The Ultrex steering response is like that of a foot controlled trolling motor so with the Ultrex, you would get the best of both.

Hasn't the spot lock been improved on the new version terrova ?

Spot lock on both the new terova and ultrex are awesome. Improved a lot from the old terova and ipilot system.
