Rhinelander/Crandon area smallmouth

Planning a brothers trip end/middle of May in the Crandon area. We have fished Metonga, successfully, and Lucerne, successfully.
Tried to hit Butternut but got blown away by a storm. Wanting to go back this year. Any suggestions for other lakes nearby to
hit for smallmouth? Metonga had some good size fish, had several 5lb fish there, and lots of numbers out of Lucerne, nothing over
3lbs there, lots of them. A lot of lakes around that area. Where would you go?

Change of venue. Decided to head to Traverse City Mi area this year.

If you ever get back this way, Butternut and Kentuck are a stones throw from each other and contain very nice smally's. Pelican lake is south of Rhinelander on hwy. 45 and is also a good smally lake.
