1995 Cobra 188 metal flake question?

    Hello!

I recently purchased a 1995 Cobra 188 for dirt cheap. Of course it was dirt cheap for a reason. Some one had tried to pick it up by the rear docking cleat and broke a section of the top cap off. Other than this damage it is a super clean sweet running rig. How would I go about matching the color of the metal flake on this? I got a steal on the boat, and will fish it no matter what the repair turns out to look like, but want it to look as good as possible. The HIN is EJS00311A595 if that is of any importance.

Thanks in advance. I will take pictures and post them soon.

    Chad

Chad, I would contact Matt at Fractures Fiberglass Repair. He may have access to the metal flake color you need. For sure he could make that Cobra look like new again. Certainly would be worth a phone call. 870-404-5304. Another person to contact would be Mike Braddock at 870-656-0845. He used to work for Ranger Boats and did fiberglass repair work on the side and may also have access to the metal flake color you need.

I thought I would be on Easy Street by now but somehow I missed the off ramp!

Chad, Talk to Larry Boyd at Sun Valley Fiberglass in Joshua, Tx (not far from you). Best fiberglass man I have ever seen! He's working on my 216 now.
