    Good tip. I have all that stuff including the bumpers but never thought of configuring it that way. If you use ropes, here is a fast way to tie them.

    Aren’t those boat cleats installed backwards? Shouldn’t they open opposite way? I’m looking at those exact ones, and directions show them to open opposite way as those do...??.

    The rig looks great and not pricey either but I agree about the carabiner there are docks which can ride low below the edge of the boat and they would tear up the finish around the tie downs.
