Winter is starting to get to me

I'm suffering from fishing withdrawals big time.
So today, while cleaning out my boat in preparation for spring I decided to actually weigh the tackle I put in it. I know. Everyone always says they carry 100 pounds of tackle, blah, blah, blah.
I wanted to know exactly what I do carry.
On my 921, in the front compartment, in shoe-box size plastic boxes, I had 21.5 pounds of plastic. In the main compartment, I have 54 pounds of tackle. 75.5 pounds of tackle!
Ya think that's slowing me down? Anyone else actually weigh their tackle?

I did once. Was about 30 pounds give or take some, been too long ago to remember. Was in the front compartment, moved it to the right rear, and no difference in speed or boat behavior.

That ol boat behavior is over rated!!!! I' light, all tackle fit in the front center storage so that means i dont have much.....and boat rides like its on rails, hardly any walking.....

For years I tried to tone it down for the upcoming season and always ended up with more. This year I’ve honestly cut things way down. I know what I mainly use and what never gets touched and really have it down to confidence baits and what I really need. Also only carry enough tungsten and jigs that I know will get me through any given day. If I use stuff during a typical day I’ll just reload once home. I haven’t weighed my boxes yet but know I cut my weight 30-40% easily.

Mine was over 60 lbs in soft plastics, & 55 lbs in other tackle, then add 30+ rods... I managed to eliminate like 25+ lbs soft plastics last year.

I was surprised it was only 75#'s.
And I have had it to right where Fidgetcranker ran at 74.9 mph. So I guess I won't feel so bad putting a lot of that tackle back in there.

I have a hard time eliminating baits so it was just easier for me to loose 25 pounds. Problem solved (till I load the boat with more)
