    Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania

Visited the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg, Pa this afternoon. My last visit was more than 30 years ago, what a change! Everything is restored to better than new.

Outstanding photos! That is a great museum located in the heart of Pennsylvania's Amish country.

Great place! Nothing like trains to bring back memories. Overcast with rain didn’t stop the buggies, full of Amish families, Sunday from going to and from church. The overcast skies were a plus when shooting in the new area of the museum. Lots of side windows and sky lights there. The old section only had outside light from the large overhead doors at the end of the building. This is a “must see” if you have or had any interest in trains.

I pass through there often and have been wanting to take a tour with my wife. One of my customers is on the board of directors and if you saw all the lumber stacked up that was his. It's still an active rail siteing.
