2002 Johnson 150hp J150PLSNF - does spark plugs need indexing?

Okay, newbie question but been reading a lot about indexing and wondering if I need to do it on my outboard for better performance. I usually just leave it at factory setting .03. Also, I usually just hand tighten the spark plugs. Any adverse impact if plugs are not torque to spec?

    2002 Johnson 150hp J150PLSNF - currently using Champion QL78YC.

    Thanks in advance!

No need to index the plugs on a carbed motor, but you should use a plug wrench to secure them in the heads and not finger tight.
The QL78YC are the correct plug for your motor.
