    Carpet

    Scraped off all the glue that a scraper will get off, has a light yellow film left on it, does this have to come off, if so what's best way to get it off

    If you have it down to a light yellow glue spots only it’s fine. The new glue will Dissolve the old glue when you start putting carpet on. Using goof off or thinners to get it down to the gel coat is a waste of your time.
