    225 promax efi electrical output

    I traded a prop for a minn kota mk 2dc charger/alternator. I was doing some reading up on it and it said that the motor has to put out a certain amount of electrical output for it to work. I have a 1995 mercury 225 promax efi, what would the output on this motor be?

    My motor doesn't have an alternator just the stator, I guess, and it puts out 40 amps? Thats good because the charger says the motor has to put out 25 amps for it to work. Thanks.

    Yes the stator and electics put out 40 amps of charging power.
