What's the longest your boat has sat unused?

Due to work and other things I haven't seen my boat in two months, I Think I'm having withdrawals.

Last August through January of this year. Shoulder surgery put the kibosh on my fall/winter fishing. Just now getting back to somewhat normal. Hope that’s the longest it ever sits.

About three weeks is typically the most, CA winters aren't too bad.

Only here still because of family.

Most years, mine will sit for 3-4 months each winter. When my late wife was battling cancer near the end, it sat for about 7 months.

Since I rarely fish tournaments much anymore, mine can go as long as 6 weeks. It depends on the weather here in Central Alabama. Right now, it has rained a LOT so the Alabama River is UP, muddy, and has trees/logs floating downriver. Since that's the closest to me, it will be at least a couple of weeks before the water settles down. When it's below 40 degrees or above 95, I won't fish much. I choose not to be miserable unless given no other choice. That said, I have fished in weather so cold, in tournaments, that water droplets on the cap of my boat (and it was a malibu silver cap), on a bluebird sunny day, would not melt. I try not to go longer than 2 weeks though.
