I’ve got a 112 Fortrex that pops in the bow guard when I change directions (lower spring sleeve moves). Should I replace just the lower spring sleeve (it’s cracked) or should I replace the whole bow guard assembly? Please give me a quote for your recommendation shipped to 35475.

Without special equipment, it is not recommended to disassemble the bowguard due to the pressure of the spring. For a shop to replace the lower bushing, after paying labor to remove, repair, replace, it is just about the same price to replace the entire bowguard yourself. The bowguard is apx $100.00. I can get you a "hard" price when I get to the shop Monday.
