    blowout

have a 20 xd 250 efi/14 in hydro/27 trophy plus. 3/4 below pad. have tried all engine heights. on launch bow will rise and blow out, back off and let bow drop and... here we go. all holes in prop are plugged. would gladly trade some top end for a good hole shot. what prop do i need?

What does the rpm go to when you break-over....or does it just completely turn loose??
Have you kept yer foot in it to see if it will grab without letting off??
How is the boat loaded weight wise??
So many questions need to be answered before anyone could give you accurate pointers!!!!

Get rid of that trophy prop. Bravo xs and you may try a blowout ring.

I'm only speaking from fishing out of my buddy's bullet. He had the trophy and it sucked. Went to the bravo and it became a different boat. Their are a lot more experienced guys on here than myself. Trapp, or 21xd will be able to help you a lot.

It's the smaller diameter of the Trophy. A ring will help some, but If you go to a Bravo it'll have a lot better holeshot. It made a world of difference on my 20 with a little 2.5.
