Getting ready to remove my passenger console in a 216. Does anyone have pictures of how Cobra did the single models? They sure help the fiberglass guy.
Cheers,
George

I have actually never seen one. Will be interesting if somebody posts anything on this. Would love to see how yours turns out. Most guys on here will tell you to not do it. I've thought about it more than once myself.
I have not seen one either. But I think the champions will be similar? Could be completely wrong with the 216. But I think it would be close enough to go from.

George any updates on your to be single console 216?
I have a single console 201 if you still need pictures I could take a few just let me know. I am in the process of replacing some rotten stringers and transom but the top cap is still sitting on the hull and you can see all the details of how the sc's are laid out. I have owned both 201DC and this 201SC and the SC is hands down the better fishing platform and faster by quite a bit, but that could be for a number of reasons. It is the only single console I have seen, other than pictures online.
Cobra didn't make a tournament style single console in the 216. So I made my own! The difference is amazing. This modification sure will make my old knees happy! Now I can sit down to lip a fish with out falling out of the dang boat!
Before refit.
Tear down.

Awesome George would love to see the pictures.
Larry Boyd @ Sun Valley Fiberglass, in Joshua, Texas. Man, what a great job he did! He is a wizard with fiberglass. Man, it is so mush easier to fish out of this boat! You are the man Larry, you old fart!
