    Driving a 920

Ok got to drive my first 920 , second one to ride in.
I was in some one else’s boat so little uncomfortable and have never had a hydraulic jack plate.
only played with it for little bit . Was surprised on how much you had to drive it , I figure a little seat time and it will be no big deal . I have a old 97 202 Champion with a 250 that you have to put little to no effort tell above 70.
    I am still can’t wait to get a 920 .

My guess is that you had the trim way too high and/or the jackplate too high. Drive mine at 70 with one hand.

If you don't have to drive it, I don't want it.

The 920 I had took a little driving at 73 and above. My new 20PHX requires almost no driving up to 78.

You can run the jack plate anyplace and not have to drive it if you dont over trim. These boats ride pretty flat.

When your trimming to the max to get max speed is the only time you have to drive it.

My top speed with a tail wind is jack plate topped out, into the wind its just a little below top out. But I can leave it anyplace and my top speed varies all the way down 55-58 mph is tops etc.

They're 95% similar. Like i mentioned they PHX doesn't walk like the pro xp. Layout is different on the PHX. Overall ride and top end speed are comparable. Passenger rod locker is wider and more functional on the PHX.
