Mid-Summer....Chick or Guntersville? During the weekdays.

I am much closer to Chick than G. I have never fished Guntersville.

I know the Chick is over-loaded with tournaments. What about Guntersville?

I am considering driving down to G. and staying one or two nights. I can drive to Chick in a little over an hour, but G. would be a change, and perhaps, less crowded???

    Any info appreciated.

I have a buddy that told me that Guntersville can get pretty crowded too even on the weekdays.

Thanks.....Looks like I will head someplace else. Might just go back to Texas in the heat, or just fish the rivers near me.

I wouldn't skip a trip to either one, just don't expect to have either one all to yourself during the week.

Thanks. I can, and do, fish Chick during the week.

My wife is going on a cruise in mid-summer with her sister, so I was thinking of getting a motel and spending a few days at G. Sounds like I could just as easily do the Chick.
