    Mercury Thruster Plus

Trying to find out information on a 1986 Mercury Thruster Plus electric trolling motor. Does it work on 12v? Does it work on 24v? Can you switch back and forth between the two? It is mounted on a 1986 Champion with a Pro-Charge Panel up front. The only identifiable number on the motor is SN A247781. How much thrust does it have?

Sorry Joe but some of the later Thrusters were 12/24 like Topaz mentioned. Had a switch you flipped. They had a planetary gear setup with a bigger prop and slower RPM,
had a surprising amount of thrust and were under rated by today's standards at 28 lbs 12v, 36 at 24v IIRC.
