    Worn shift rod ? 90model GT175

The shift rod on my 90 model GT175,mod#VJ175SLESE,ser#ROB602958,has extensive wear where it goes thru the heavy O-ring seal. The web page that I have purchased parts from says not available. Can this part be had anywhere else? Thanks Guys

Look up shows Angler's choice in Spindale NC has one.

You can also call Eddie Pope (AKA Gearcaseman) 423-336-5618 and see if he has one.

Are you sure the O ring is not the problem. I've never seen that before. That's the old crossflow shift rod isn't it, measured at 22 1/16" ?

If Eddie cant help and the rod is for sure the problem, I have a few old crossflow shift rods lying around(never seen one wear either/unless it is mis-aligned/bent somehow and rubbing???)
