I'm dreading what I'm going to see in the river tomorrow morning when I get there. Last weekend I was zigzagging around logs all day running from area to area. Flow was just over 3mph on GPS. Pretty muddy but got on something that I really hope carries over to Saturday. Landed a buckethead though, first 6+ of the year.

The High School tourney and crappie tourney have both cancelled... fewer boats. There have been some good fish caught this week on Columbus despite the conditions. Still, I believe the best bags are going to to come from Pickensville. It fished strong last weekend even with the high muddy water.

I was definitely wrong... no decent bags I saw came from anybody who locked up or down. 16# in tough conditions... Columbus is looking good.
