    V-20 and 4 blades

I have asked this a while back, but got limited response. Has anyone run a 4 blade on a SHO/V20 and been impressed with it? What about a Merc?

Tried a fury 4 on my V20. Ran and handled pretty good. Did not notice that much difference over the 3 blade. Decided to run fury 3 blade 24 as main prop since easier to turn and a couple of mph better top end. Do not have a hyd plate so did not mess with engine height. That could make a difference since the 4 like to ride high from what I hear.

I have a V-20/Pro XS and My boat handles better with the Fury 4 but a little slower top end.

I ran a TXP 24 Pitch 4 blade with my 250 SHO. The 24 fury 3 blade is much better. Great hole shot, and 70-71 top end.

250 Verado with a 4 blade Bravo 2. Works great!

I will need to try my 4 blade again as my memory is that the 3 just felt better. I am about 3 3/4 prop to pad so maybe I need to come up higher with the 4 blade to be fair. Another reason I need a Bob's hyd plate.

The fury 4 blade likes to run about an inch higher than the 3 blade on most hulls.

4 Blade Fury 24P for me too. Better hole shot and handling with about 2 mph loss over Fury 3 24P. Worth the difference to me!
